Say hello to the heroes of the 2014 London Sketch Comedy Festival. With stand-out performances, these are the award-winning acts who won the hearts of judges and audiences.

Gein’s Family Giftshop

Taking the New Act competition by storm, Manchester-based Gein’s Family Giftshop came, performed and conquered, leaving a legacy which future performers are all likely to lust for.

With their fast paced, irreverent and high energy comedy they won the hearts of both judges and audiences to walk away with the Best New Act and Audience Choice awards. London SketchFest’s first ever double whammy.

In Cahoots

Coming second place in the most hotly contested competition yet, In Cahoots gained the Runner Up award with their bold and contemporary comedy, bringing this unique duo firmly into the limelight.

This Glorious Monster

London SketchFest’s newest competition Sketch Screen, in partnership with comedy film festival Cofilmic, sought the best online sketch videos from a range of talent in the UK.

Selected by another panel of judges as having the winning sketch video, This Glorious Monster were crowned Sketch Screen Winners.

The Unexpected Items

Featuring the infamous ‘Gap Yah’ Matt Lacey, The Unexpected Items have moved from live performance to recording video sketches for the past couple years. Up against a range of nominations in the competition, they were selected by judges as Sketch Screen Runner-Up.
